ReVault LLC ("REVAULT," "we," "us," or "our") operates the REVAULT platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our website, mobile application, and related services (the "Service").
When you create an account, we collect your email address and an encrypted password. If you are invited to a fleet, we may also collect your name as provided by the fleet owner.
When you use the Service, you may provide vehicle information (year, make, model, VIN, mileage, color, photos), service records (shop name, date, amount, description, category, mileage), documents (receipts, invoices, registrations, insurance cards, titles, window stickers), fleet information (company name, address, team members, equipment assignments), and inspection records (DVIR checklists, work orders).
When you scan a receipt or upload a document, the image or file is stored securely in our cloud storage. Images submitted for AI scanning are processed by our AI provider to extract text and data.
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store, process, or have access to your credit card numbers or bank account information. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.
We may collect basic usage data such as device type, browser type, and general interaction patterns to improve the Service. We do not track your location. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across third-party websites.
We use your information to provide and operate the Service, process AI receipt scanning and document extraction, generate maintenance schedules and recommendations, send fleet invitation emails and account notifications, process subscription payments through Stripe, improve the Service based on usage patterns, and communicate important updates about the Service.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data for marketing purposes.
We use the following third-party services to operate REVAULT:
Supabase — Database, user authentication, and file storage. Your account data, vehicle records, and uploaded files are stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase processes data in accordance with their privacy policy.
Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI receipt scanning and document processing. When you scan a receipt or document, the image is sent to Anthropic's API for text extraction. Anthropic processes this data according to their API terms and does not use it to train models.
Stripe — Payment processing for subscriptions. Stripe handles all payment data directly. We only receive confirmation of payment status and subscription details.
Resend — Email delivery for fleet invitations and account communications. Recipient email addresses are shared with Resend solely for the purpose of delivering emails on our behalf.
Cloudflare — Website hosting, content delivery, and security. Cloudflare may process basic request data (IP address, user agent) for security and performance purposes.
NHTSA — Vehicle identification and recall data. When you decode a VIN, the VIN is sent to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's public API. No personal information is shared.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices provided by our infrastructure partners (Supabase and Cloudflare). All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We implement access controls to limit data access to authorized personnel only.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data, vehicle records, and uploaded files. Some data may be retained as required by law, for fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes. Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
If you mark a vehicle as sold, the service records associated with that vehicle may be made available to a future owner who adds the same vehicle by VIN. Transferred records are marked as "Previous Owner" and do not include your personal account information (email, name). Only the service record data (shop, date, service, amount, mileage) is transferred.
If you are a fleet owner, you control the data associated with your fleet, including team member access, equipment records, and inspection data. Fleet employees and managers can see fleet equipment data as permitted by their role. Fleet owners are responsible for informing their team members about how their data is used within the Service.
When you create a share link, the vehicle's service history is accessible to anyone with the link until it expires. Share links do not require authentication. You control whether amounts are visible in shared links. Share links expire automatically based on the duration you select.
You have the right to access your data through the Service at any time, correct or update your information through the Service, delete your account and associated data through Settings, export your service records as PDF, and request information about how your data is processed by contacting us.

The Service is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
The Service is currently available in the United States and Canada. Your data is processed and stored in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
